Kalam still Homeless!

What I know that there is no problem for assigning Rahul Bhaiya and Priyanka Didi sarkari bungalows. Though in what capacity / designation Priyanka Didi is living in a government bungalow, no one knows. They and their family have “sacrificed” so much for India and Indians. We will have to look after them and their coming generations for forever as Sarkari Damads. They have all the rights to enjoy every privilege with taxpayers money.

The link is not working but news goes like this:
HP land rules waived (The Statesman, India – 24 Aug 2007)
“The revenue department has given Mrs Priyanka permission to acquire land by giving relaxation in Section 118 of the Land Reforms and Tenancy Act, …” Should there be any rule for this family who “sacrificed” so much for the country? THE WHOLE COUNTRY IS THEIRS TO PLUNDER.
Today I read this news:
“Kalam, who has Z-Plus security cover, has been staying in the guesthouse despite his office making several representations to the urban development ministry for early renovation of the house in central Delhi allotted to him.

However, the work undertaken by the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) has been moving very slowly despite reminders from security agencies that want to install gadgets to protect the former President, who faces threats from several militant groups, including Lashker-e-Taiba.

Sand and construction material were seen spread all over the house at 10 Rajaji Marg. CPWD officials at the spot were unwilling to say when the house would be ready for Kalam to move in.”

  1. It surely is a sad state of affairs. But then, directly or indirectly (by not participating in the democratic process) we choose such people to rule us so we shouldn’t complain now (but then we do).

  2. rahul bhaiyya n priyanka didi ROFLLLLLLLLLLL……………oh yes they are the sarkar’s own family……………..kalam ji n his likes will have to wait in queue for being a true indian……………courtesy sonia ji nevertheless……………hahahahaha

  3. Amrit, making one’s displeasure obvious is also one of the democratic rights.

Prancer, this so called “family” has hijacked the nation and we are letting them do it.

  4. Hi,Alka…I feel really bad about our ex-Pres. Kalam…but, then, that’s the value people have in our country,na? Reminds me of the days of kingdoms, where only the King and his relatives and chamchas used to be favoured, while the rest of the people suffered silently.

  5. AmitL you have summed it up so aptly. And no one can earn the displeasure of this “family” be it netas or bureaucrats or editors of magazines.

  6. I wonder if everything in the country would have been fine if the ex-Prez would have got the house in time or the congress people wouldnt have obtained the land in HP? These are only the tit-bits which have been let out to the common people.

  7. Paradox You are right. If they can’t deal with the tit-bits how can they be trusted with bigger things? If an ex-president can be treated in this manner what about the common man? And we all know an outsider can’t purchase property in hill stations. But how can this be applied to the member of a family who “sacrificed” most for India?

  8. Alka
Sad story. They way Kalam writes and praises the “Congress family” in his books and they way the congress led government overlooked him before election and after it – its painful.

The common man is smart enough – and if they don’t get warned early – read my comments some days in future – when people’s verdict will come out.

    Paradox,
I disagree about “These are only the tit-bits which have been let out to the common people.”- they may be the small things – but have great signifance for the condition what we are !

  9. This really sucks. However i dont feel like comparing kalam with other politicians. He’s raised above all of these silly things i feel.

  10. And then there are Mayawati who is demolishing schools & stadiums for herself & and her idols. Andhe Nagri Chaupat Raza, Takey Ser Bhaji, Takey Ser Khaja!

  11. Hi Alka,

Would you please contact me privately? I’ve been reading your blog and enjoying your perspective.

    Thanks,

    Coeli Dwivedi

  12. Prem,I hope that day comes fast. Everyday commoners are taken for a ride.

Maverick, he is really above all this. But what has he done to deserve such treatment?

Manish, Maya Memshahib to Mahan hai!!

Sudipta, even an ex-president can’t escape from their clutches.

    Paavani, you are right.

  13. I think that ,this is how the new generation is accepting facts and taking these kind of activities for granted .
I hope these facts should definitely foster youths to involve in national activities .

  14. Well it is really a shameful act on the part of Govt. authorities. Why we say or we are asked to say MERA BHARAT MAHAN. If these kind of things continue in this dirty political aroma then in real sense MERA BHARAT MAHAN.
